The Professional Organizer will provide the following services to the Client:
Fees and Payment: The Client shall pay the Professional Organizer the set amount for the organizing services to be provided under this Contract.
Travel Fee: The first 50 miles of round-trip travel are complimentary. Additional travel will be charged at $2.00 per mile.
Methods and Terms of Payment: We accept payment by debit or credit card, cash, or Zelle. The entire balance is due no later then the event date.
Billable Services: Services that will be billed include, but are not limited to, meetings at a client's home, office, or place of business, phone consultations beyond the complimentary introductory consultation, electronic communication, and work done on a client's behalf off-site.
Expenses: Expenses related to the service, such as copying, messenger services, shipping fees, delivery charges, parking, tolls, other transportation charges, and overnight charges are the responsibility of the client and will be billed to the client at the time of service unless the client directly covers these costs.
Supplies: The client is responsible for paying for all necessary supplies, such as file folders, labels, labeling tape, storage containers, and shelving, that are agreed upon for the completion of the project Either the client will be advised on what supplies to purchase and will do the shopping themselves, or the Professional Organizer will shop and purchase the supplies on behalf of the client and arrange for delivery to the client's location.
A $30.00 hourly rate applies for shopping and returns.
Cancellations: We value your time and understand that you do as well. When a client books an appointment with us, that time slot is reserved exclusively for them and is not available to be scheduled for anyone else. If for any reason other than a true emergency or serious illness, a client needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we ask that they provide at least 48 hr notice in order to allow others the opportunity to use the unused time.
Appointments that are canceled less than 48 hrs of the scheduled appointment time, may incur a cancellation fee of $125.00. Fee will be deducted from deposit or can be paid separately. This fee may be waived or adjusted at our discretion.
Termination: This Contract may be terminated by either party atleast 48 hours prior to commencing project.
Privacy and Confidentiality: Due to the sensitive nature of our work and the trust it requires our clients to place in us, we ensure complete privacy during our work together. We strictly adhere to the National Association of Professional Organizers Code of Ethics, which emphasizes confidentiality, honesty, and integrity.
Governing Law: This Contract shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
